Terms & agreements.
These terms outline how Yours & Mine Productions works with clients. They supplement the signed contract you receive at booking. Questions? Email yandmpro@gmail.com.
This page is a general, best-practice summary and not legal advice. Your signed contract is the binding agreement between you and Yours & Mine Productions.
Acceptance of terms
By booking a session, paying a retainer, or signing a service agreement with Yours & Mine Productions, you agree to these Terms & Agreements. These terms supplement — and do not replace — the signed contract for your specific session or wedding.
Services
The scope, deliverables, location, and duration of each session are defined in your signed contract and selected package. This page provides a general overview of how we work and does not substitute for the legally binding contract you receive at booking.
Booking & retainer
A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date. Your date is not held until both the retainer and signed contract are received. The remaining balance is due before final gallery delivery, per the schedule in your contract.
Rescheduling & cancellation
Retainers are non-refundable. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested in writing as early as possible. Client-initiated cancellations forfeit the retainer; any balance already paid beyond the retainer is refundable per the terms in your signed contract.
Payment terms
We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other methods listed at booking. Late payments may delay delivery of your gallery. Returned or failed payments may incur a processing fee, and outstanding balances must be settled before galleries, prints, or albums are released.
Copyright & image usage
Yours & Mine Productions retains the copyright to all images created. Clients receive a personal-use print release that permits printing, sharing on personal social media, and gifting to family. Commercial use, resale, or use by third-party vendors (venues, planners, florists, publications) requires our prior written permission.
Model release & portfolio use
For non-boudoir sessions, we may use images for portfolio, website, social media, blog features, and submissions to publications. If you'd prefer your images not be used publicly, let us know in writing before your session. Boudoir images are never shared, displayed, or used in marketing without your explicit written consent.
Delivery timelines
Typical turnaround is 1–2 weeks for sneak peeks and 8–12 weeks for full galleries from the session or wedding date. Final timelines are stated in your contract. Online galleries remain hosted for a minimum of 90 days; we recommend downloading and backing up your images promptly.
Creative control
Yours & Mine Productions retains creative control over editing style, color treatment, and final image selection. We do not provide unedited RAW files. Major edits beyond our standard workflow (composites, head swaps, body retouching beyond standard skin retouching) may be available as an add-on.
Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid for the session or wedding. We are not responsible for circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including illness, weather, venue or vendor failures, transportation delays, or guest behavior. We carry backup equipment and follow professional best practices to mitigate technical risk.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events outside reasonable control — natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government orders, or similar. Where possible, we will offer to reschedule at no additional retainer.
Client conduct
We expect respectful, safe interactions on every session and wedding day. We reserve the right to end a session without refund in cases of abusive, threatening, or unsafe behavior toward our team or other guests.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in El Dorado County, California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with a revision date. Continued engagement with our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
